The last time I was in Rome I stayed in expensive, fancy hotels. On my next trip, hopefully next year, I would like to stay in small pensions or bed & breakfasts. Myabe you could write about alternative, inexpensive places to stay and eat in Rome, one of the world's most expensive cities.

I would also like to visit Bologna for its food, and stay in a B&B there. Also, can you write about where someone could go to learn how to make fresh tortellini and see how they cure the hams? I'm told Bologna is famous for this dish.
